The following photos are of a 2 br/2 ba beach condo. We totally renovated it for rental purposes.  The owners traded up 3 years later and tripled their investment.  Our budget was very limited, but we achieved a great look with lots of positive feedback from vacationers.
 

Assemble-yourself cabinets and laminate countertops look great.  The new look continues onto the patio.

Before, the bedrooms were unsightly and sparsely furnished.   After, the master bedroom and bath are an elegant suite with restful colors.  We had no budget for a headboard so used a screen instead.  The guest room is more flexible with twin beds.
