Staging.  Before, the stained trim somewhat dated the house and  while the house was vacant, it really stood out.  By adding just a bit of color in the eclectic furnishings and accessories we were able to neutralize it. 

Staging the same vacant house.  At first glance, the living room seemed a problem for furniture placement and the stained trim seemed dated.  However, with good furniture placement (and I'm showing a couple of options, the room is very functional and the beams are great architectural features.

Curb appeal.  Adding window boxes to the balconies and topiaries by the front door attract the buyers notice immediately.
